Id just like to take a moment to appreciate that Animorphs (a kids book series! started with a hero devoured alive and ended with most of the main characters dead or miserable. It was way darker than I realized back then.

I think I saw it the first time in November 2019 and thought the movie was coming out in 2020. I thought it would be cool if he was a badass UFO UNDERCOVER BUT THE MOB FOK'ED WITH HIM BEING BULLIES.
