I'm 35 years old, just watched The Godfather for the first time this afternoon. I had been putting it off because I knew it was something of a Masterpiece. WOW. I went in with very high expectations and this is the best movie I've ever seen.
I've seen this scene probably literally over a hundred times. My heart still races every time from the moment Michael goes to the bathroom. Just a master class of cinematography, sound design, editing, and acting.
