Good essay on one of my favourite films! you could've put a spoiler alert though for those who haven't seen it. a certain scene is going to lose some of its impact thanks to the spoilers here. not to mention the ending.

1:05, Idk why, but I just love it when he lifts his leg up while hugging Jojo. It melts my heart for reasons unknown.

This is one of the best opening scenes I have ever seen. I went into this movie pretty blind and was hooked from the jump. Jojo is such a great and character and this kid hit it out of the park. He's adorable and innocent and exuberant - and of course a Nazi. Really enjoyed this film and glad I gave it a shot. From the very little I read it about it I was apprehensive, but this movie is outstanding and this scene is all time for me. PANTHER COURAGE.
