    I was quite disappointed with this movie. Great actors, but the storyline contains few laughs, minimal suspense, and just plods along for 2.5 hours until the final 20 minutes.

    Yes, the characters are interesting enough to follow along. You can't help but enjoy DiCaprio and Pitt going through their daily lives. But after a while you expect more.

    The main thing going on as the movie goes along is DiCaprio's character (Rick Dalton) dealing with a Hollywood career that's fading out. This is tied into Tarantino's dream of how nice it would have been had the Charlie Manson cult followers not killed Sharon Tate and her guests, but were to have been killed by a neighbor. That's it. That's the plot. For some reason the viewer has to wade through a lot of scenes of Rick Dalton acting in a movie he's playing a role in, and preparing for the day's scenes. I was continually left wanting.
