For any fans of the writer/director's previous work like Dogtooth or The Lobster, this is a must. I'... m only after watching it and still trying to get to the bottom of exactly what he was trying to achieve but the black humour, ruthlessness of the characters and outright absurdness is there in all its glory. Its not for the feint hearted once it gets going but the monotone, apathetic absurdity keeps it interesting until then and above all else, top class acting from its stars and exceptional camerawork. See More One of the best and worst experiences I've had in a film. Great acting, cinematography and the music...! I was riveted the whole way through. Characters I cared about. But disturbed me in such away I had to close my eyes and cover my ears in the final scene which I think was the intention. Go with nerves of steel. See More A film so bad I was angry I'd watched it. We're asked to swallow the notion that some kid can place... a precise detailed death curse on a family - which he does and it works for some reason we're supposed to just accept. Dry banal dialogue throughout. No twists or turns. Within the top 5 all time worst films I've ever sat through. See More.
