    I have heard so much about Forrest Gump before I watched it. Some called it one of the best films of all time, some hated it, some say overrated. I didn't knew what to believe. I saw the reviews and the Rotten Tomatoes score made me felt that I was gonna get something mediocre. When I turned it on, the first 10 minutes already got my full attention.

    I love Tom Hanks. I really do. I enjoyed Captain Phillips, Da Vinci Code and Catch Me If You Can. I once said that his role as Woody in the Toy Story films would be my favorite role by him. But after Forrest Gump. I didn't hesitate to change my mind.

    Forrest Gump was a person I wish I would've met, or at some point, I wish I am. A brave, kind-hearted and honest man, who seems to stop at nothing to fulfill something no matter how impossible the task seems to be. I have given up many times in some point of my life, but after watching Forrest Gump, it told me, never give up, and this movie just shows that you can be anything you want in life if you just tried.

    Forrest Gump is a beautiful, magical tale, better than any Disney film combined. The Lion King can't beat it. Toy Story can't beat it. Titanic was emotional, but if you look through the eyes of Forrest Gump, you'll never see the world the way he sees it. And that is the best part, he isn't like anybody you've ever met.
