Omg! She is her dress is just something else. She is really good in the movie. I am happy for her. Public bathroom sex scenes are always awkward to watch cuz nobody IRL does that. This movie was definitely worth watching. I loved the combining of the novel, Wonderland, twisted into a long episode of Spenser: For Hire. It blended flawlessly. Mark Wahlberg and Winston Duke had great chemistry on the screen. Alan Arkin and Iliza Shlesinger provided some great comic relief. The plot was fairly typical of most Mark Wahlberg movies, and stereotypical movies of the genre as a whole, which is not a bad thing whatsoever if you enjoy them. You just know what to reasonably expect and won't be disappointed with it if you enjoy these type of movies. What makes this better, is that it can be streamlined into an excellent movie series bringing back a tweaked mid-1980's t. v. show that was a favorite of mine which I really wish they would. There are quite a lot of overly thought out armchair "critic reviews" that seem to be rating this movie, and so many others,

In the new film, Wahlberg plays an ex-cop who gets out of jail after five years and tries to pick up the pieces of the life he left behind—all while unraveling the conspiracy that landed him in jail in the first place.

jisawaine Wahlberg is teaming up with his frequent collaborator, director Peter Berg —the two have worked on Lone Survivor, Patriots Day, Mile 22, and Deepwater Horizon —along with Black Panther star Winston Duke, who is playing Hawk, an aspiring MMA fighter. Wahlberg’s Spencer enlists Hawk, his former boxing coach Henry (Alan Arkin), and ex-girlfriend Cissy (Iliza Shlesinger) to help unravel the case, which includes dirty cops, a drug cartel, and politicians who framed Spenser for his crimes.

The movie has some personal significance to Wahlberg, as he used to watch the ’80s Boston-based TV show Spenser: For Hire, which was based on the character and the book series as well.
