You missed a lot of the meaning in this film, I disagree with almost every criticism you made. As soon as a reviewer calls a piece of art pretentious they lose all credence since they clearly don't know what that word means. People are pretentious, not art.
It was easily one of the worst movies i've watched. I mean, even worse than the bling ring or any other film you could imagine. It makes no sense at all.
