    I mean, I went in expecting some Fuck you it's January bullshit starring Gerard Butler, but instead I got a pretty decent heist movie in LA; like the love child of David Ayer and Michael Mann. The characters all had depth, the heist sequences were astounding (especially the hour+ long climax which plays out silently most of the time). The ending was kinda wtf and out of nowhere but other than not really sticking the landing, I was pretty enthralled the whole way through. Glad the studio let this..
