So, a few weeks before seeing this movie I got the song Strait Shooter by The Mama's & The Papa's stuck in my head. It was in my head for a good 3 weeks. Without knowing alot of details about the Tate murders, just the general story, I wound up watching this movie. When Abigail Folger was playing Strait Shooter on the piano, I was kinda shocked to hear the song that had been stuck in my head for weeks. After the movie I decided to watch a few videos about the Tate murders. I was in absolute shock when I found out that Strait Shooter sheet music was on the piano at the crime scene. I have been obsessed with this movie since that. I am on my second viewing and caught so many little details so far. Such a great film.
