The songs were beautiful, the musicians amazing, the lyrics inspired. The western scenery was nice, although not the main focus, nor should it be. The voice-overs during the western scenery was mostly either poetic fluff or too deep for me to grasp in one viewing. Sort of felt like he was describing the same song each time. Despite the poetry between songs sounding perhaps a little too fluffy and similar, the songs themselves were distinguished and amazing and inspiring to me.
