    I'm a huge fan of the franchise and I have been waiting for too long for another official entry of MK to hit the screens and to be honest I'm really disappointed.

    There are two major issues with this movie, the first one being the lack of any background story telling and the second one being the awful animation stile.

    Based on the title I was expecting and hoping for a movie that covers the background of Scorpion, a depiction of the history between the Shirai Ryu and the Lin Kuei, how did Quan Chi infiltrated the Lin Kuei, how did he manage to actually convince them, where was Bi-Han during that time. The mental struggles, which Hanzo Hasashi needed to deal with etc.

    This could have been an awesome movie and there would have still been time for awesome and gory fight scenes. Imagine something between Street Fighter and Spoon.

    In terms of animation, man how I hate this modern Flash looking animation. why couldn't we have gotten something in the style of the actual games - MK X or 11. br>

    And the really sad thing is that the fan crew behind MK: Legacy did a way better job in 15 minutes or something than the "professionals" behind this. to which I give 5 stars only because I love MK.
