This may be flaired incorrectly because it's a bit of a vent but here is my question. Is it really appropriate for one to ask another parent for a 'playdate' when you really mean 'can you babysit my kid while I go do XYZ?' I'm all about helping somebody in a pinch, or doing a trade but why don't we just call it that?
