The film was a pleasant surprise as I thought it would be another silly popcorn Sandler film but it actually had some real acting from him. Not that it was a real stretch for him but it's an annoying Sandler for the entire film and it works. The directing is also solid even though the music got really trippy almost like the composer ripped off Blade Runner Vangelis which felt bizarre yet added a twisted flavor to the story. Looking forward to more films from this duet brother team. Not sure about Sandler getting an Oscar nomination but kudos for real acting. I give it a 7 as it kept me entertained the entire film and the ending was a real shocker. No spoilers.
