I enjoyed it as a manifestation of the theatre show in an experimental format on-screen. Its kind of like a giant music video. No one takes music videos that seriously and many music videos (Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" for one) are interesting and memorable and ultimately about the music. This movie is a series of character vignettes and the music is really what it's all about. The character "Victoria" was, for me, beautiful and entrancing to behold.
