An excellent film! very entertaining and plenty of plot twists. Great martial arts and stunning ocean scenes. I love Chinese period films where the great Chinese war ships are featured. Magnificent! Like in Red Cliff when Gen. Cao Cao's massive naval fleet departs for war against the Southlands. I hope Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon is followed by a sequel like the Sherlock Holmes films featuring Jude Law.
