Man I'm part of the 'holy shit this movie is weird man' crowd and I'll be honest it pretty much completely lost me not long after Bob got sick, I'm watching some videos explaining the movie then maybe I'll go back and watch it with a better grip on context and themes Also is it just me or was it pretty obvious throughout the film that Bob was going to be the one sacrificed.

Also, a level of hypnotism. Everything is done in a series of 3s. Twirling the spaghetti, the kid constantly is rocking like a pendulum and putting the people into a very suggestive state.

Good explanation. Like all of his films it takes either a little thinking or a little research to really to get to the bottom of the real story behind it. Try watching one of his earlier ones, the Greek film Dogtooth. Thats a really odd film, but when you know the meaning behind it it makes a lot of sense.

I didnt get the connection to God, I felt that Martin was a manifestation of Steven's guilty conscience: his inner demons materialised in Martin. It was a weird movie, but it definitely kept my mind turning and twisting throughout👍.

I watched lobster and thought the flat tone was part of the metaphor of the society and the movie and now I'm realizing go in through the painful process of watching the deer movie I hate for life i'm realizing that it was a fluke and these movie's are characters show the opposite of we need to talk about Kevin this movie is the opposite of we need to talk about Kevin and caliber and clarity and performance and writing… and I loved mother! I guess the director said he wanted less character development so people would focus on the message but it came off as less character. It looks good… But the house is empty… This movie is an empty house.

We saw this at Cannes. It was weird and confusing af. I feel like im missing something. Like a hidden meaning. Or maybe people in the film industry are just so pretentious that they like something eccentric for the sake of looking sophisticated.

In the beginning of this episode the old Korean guy from the Korean spa remote was in a comedy bit as Prince's son sitting among the audience where he was hilariously horrible.
