We're back! And kicking off Season 26 with the traditional multiclass event. The iRacing Gods have benevolently bestowed upon us a new free track, so we're off to Silverstone. This is the international config, so expect the multiclass action to be tight with not much space into the braking zones. Setups are fixed; the Mazda is using the baseline with reduced fuel, and the Cadillac is using a modified setup with a little less traction control and ABS. That said, to paraphrase Barry Obama, you can put lipstick on a Pitbull, but it'll still understeer like a pig. A pitstop will be needed to complete the race distance but these cars have big tanks so you can fill up on lap 1 if required. There are two fast repairs to see you through the 50 minutes, and I'm looking forward to greeting plenty of new faces to the RiL grid.
